The Citizenship and Social Development Beijing Culture and Innovative Development Mainland Study Tour was successfully held for our Secondary 5 students from 20 to 24 September, serving as a vital component of the curriculum to deepen their understanding of the nation's latest developments and cultural heritage. During this enriching five-day journey, students explored significant historical landmarks, including the Palace Museum, Yuanmingyuan, and the Mutianyu Great Wall, while gaining insights into modern technological advancements and urban renewal through visits to Shougang Park and leading innovative enterprises like Meituan. A major highlight of the tour was the kick-off ceremony, officiated by the Secretary for Education at the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, where students participated in a solemn flag-raising ceremony. Furthermore, meaningful academic and cultural exchanges with our sister school, Beijing 101 Middle School, and Peking University empowered our students to build friendships, explore future development opportunities in the Mainland, and strengthen their national identity.
