在本校老師的指導下，由楊懷堃，傅思皓，高潤彤及濮愷俊組成的學生團隊於由恒隆地產與香港科技大學合辦的「2025年恒隆數學獎」中勇奪銅獎。他們從全港近100支參賽隊伍中脫穎而出，他們的研究報告《關於「三點不共線」問題的推廣》（On the Generalizations of the No-Three-in-Line Problem）展現了卓越的協作探究精神、嚴密的組合推理能力以及獨立的學術研究水平。
「恒隆數學獎」自2004年設立，每兩年舉辦一次，旨在激發學生的潛能，期望他們超越一般中學課程的框架。參賽者需經歷長達一年的嚴謹研究歷程，建立原創的數學定理，並接受國際級學術委員會的嚴格審閱，他們亦需答辯，其學術標準足以媲美研究生水平。
是次榮獲銅獎，不僅顯示學術上的備受推崇，團隊與學校更分別獲頒豐厚的「學生進修獎學金」及「學校發展基金」，有助本校進一步優化數學科研資源。這份榮譽印證了本校在數學教育上的長期耕耘與成果，並讓我們在培育未來人才的使命更為堅定，全力把他們塑造為具備國際視野、創新精神及嚴謹治學態度的社會棟樑。
Under the mentorship of our teachers, the student team comprising YEUNG Wai-kwan, FU Sze-ho Edison, KO Yun-tung, and PUK Hoi-chun has secured the Bronze Award at the 2025 Hang Lung Mathematics Awards, co-organized by Hang Lung Properties and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Distinguished among nearly 100 teams from across Hong Kong, their research paper, “On the Generalizations of the No-Three-in-Line Problem”, exemplified exceptional collaborative inquiry, combinatorial reasoning, and independent scholarship.
Since 2004, this prestigious biennial competition challenges students to transcend standard curricula. It requires participants to undertake a rigorous, year-long research journey—formulating original theorems and defending their findings before a world-class Scientific Committee—reaching standards comparable to postgraduate thesis work.
Receiving the Bronze Award confers not only academic distinction but also significant Student Education Awards and School Development Grants to enhance our mathematical resources. This achievement stands as a testament to the school’s enduring commitment to mathematics education, reinforcing our mission to cultivate innovative, rigorous, and globally minded scholars.
