S2 Workshop on Tree Upcycling

The Visual Arts Department organized a workshop on ‘Tree Upcycling’ for all S2 students on 18 Oct 2023. It was a sustainable development
project co-created by youths. The students learned about local trees, integrating social innovative design and craftsmanship, regenerating
local tree resources, and promoting the social concept of ‘harmony between human and tree’.
Some students’ works were selected for the roving exhibition of ‘Tree Upcycling 2023’ held at Jockey Club – The Conservancy Association
Urban Forestry Green Hub, Yen Chow Street West, Sham Shui Po from 25 Oct to 03 Dec 2023, and at the covered piazza of Hong Kong
Times Square, Matheson Street, Causeway Bay from 05 Dec to 18 Dec 2023 respectively. It offered students an opportunity for joining the
community arts activities and recognition of their achievements.
