S2 to S5 STEAM Workshop Blender (3D Modelling)

The Visual Arts Department and the STEAM Education Team organised a 3D modelling workshop for S2 to S5 students. The objective of the workshop was to teach students to create different digital 3D models using a free and open-source software, Blender. During the last session of the workshop, each student successfully created a 3D-isometric room demonstrating students’ own characteristics. After this 10-hour workshop, they were given insight into how 3D-modelling works and this enhanced their problem-solving skills. Students enjoyed the learning experience not only because of the development of new knowledge but the joy of exploring creativity.
