Interact Club’s Service Tour to Singapore

The Interactors, led by the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northeast, went on a service
tour to Singapore from July 1 to July 4. Not only did they take part in a beach
cleanup activity with the Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Singapore and some
Rotarians from Pakistan, but they also engaged in cultural exchange with the
Interactors from Hwa Chong Institution, one of the most prestigious high schools
in Singapore, where they presented souvenirs to Mr Pang Choon How, Principal
of HCI. In addition, they were invited to a dinner gathering by the Rotary Club of
Singapore where they did a presentation about the achievements of the Interact
Club, the housing problems in Hong Kong, the importance of environmental
protection and their learning experiences throughout the trip. The Interactors found
the tour immensely fruitful and meaningful.
