S4 LWL Volunteering Activity

On 22 February 2021, the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society（HKFWS）organized an online workshop for S4 students about the characteristics of the elderly with Dementia (認知障礙症). During the LWL lessons on 2 March 2021 and 12 March 2021, students were led by social workers and discussed the content of greeting cards and decided on souvenirs to be given to the elderly. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, students were unable to visit the elderly in person. Instead, under the supervision of social workers, our students made gift bags at school and sent them to the elderly living in nursing homes.
